THE BULL
Character Design Study
This project explores how Magnific (ex-Freepik) Spaces can be used as an AI-assisted workflow for character design, visual development and animation exploration. The goal was to direct multiple AI iterations into a consistent cartoon bull character while saving time and improving visual clarity.
The AI process started from a 100% original drawing created by me, making this a human-in-the-loop workflow where creative direction, authorship and visual judgment guided every decision.
★ CREATIVE CHALLENGE ★
How can I use Magnific (ex-Freepik) Spaces to accelerate character exploration while keeping the bull character visually consistent and creatively intentional?
★ SOLUTION APPROACH★
Magnific (ex-Freepik) Spaces allowed fast generation and exploration, but the outputs needed creative supervision. Across multiple iterations, the bull character could shift in shape, proportions, facial expression, attitude, style and animation potential.
The challenge was to use AI as a production accelerator without allowing the character identity to become random or inconsistent.
The problem wasn’t generating more options; it was directing them.

I acted as the creative director of the process. I defined the visual goal, evaluated each AI output, selected the strongest results, rejected inconsistent directions and redirected the character using design foundations such as silhouette, proportion, shape language, expression, color and visual hierarchy.

ORIGINAL ARTWORK
The bull illustration was created in the past as a 100% original hand-drawn artwork.
This gave the project a strong human foundation before introducing any AI tool.
AI-ASSISTED EXPLORATION
Using Magnific (ex-Freepik) Spaces, I explored new visual routes, style variations and possible applications based on my original character.
CREATIVE REDIRECTION
The final result shows how an original illustration can evolve through AI-assisted iteration while keeping authorship, visual control and creative intention.
HUMAN-IN-THE-LOOP-REFINEMENT
The process was not fully automated. My role was to keep the character consistent, make creative decisions and guide the AI toward a clearer final direction.
