This project explores how a node-based AI workflow in Magnific / ex-Freepik Spaces can support character design exploration, especially when merging two different character identities into one coherent visual direction.

The goal was not to generate a final image instantly, but to test how AI-assisted iteration can help explore identity, pose, perspective, and storytelling possibilities while still requiring human creative direction.

How can two character identities be merged into one visual direction without losing what makes each character recognizable?

★ SOLUTION APPROACH★

I used Magnific / ex-Freepik Spaces as a node-based exploration system to test combinations, variations, and visual possibilities. Each output was reviewed through a design lens, focusing on character identity, consistency, perspective, composition, and storytelling clarity.

The process required active creative direction: preserving what made each character distinct, correcting inconsistencies, reworking visual problems, and iterating until the result felt intentional.

CHARACTER IDENTITY INPUT
The process started by combining two character identities and identifying which visual traits needed to be preserved.

NODE WORKFLOW EXPLORATION
Magnific / ex-Freepik Spaces was used to generate variations and test how the characters could merge visually.

CONSISTENCY CHECK
Each result was reviewed for identity loss, weak composition, perspective issues, and inconsistent character features.

CREATIVE RE-DIRECTION
The workflow was redirected through design decisions, not just prompting: preserving identity, fixing inconsistencies, and refining the visual intention.

STORY FINAL RE-DIRECTION
The final direction showed how the character merge could support a clearer visual concept, potentially expanding into a storyboard or narrative sequence.
